We'd love to meet you in person!  Spending a day here is the best way to explore the ethos of our school and discover how you might fit into our community. Your visit will simulate a regular day in the life of a Western Seminary student. Our visitors tell us the experience brings them new insights toward discerning their call to ministry.

Driving Directions

  • From the North (Muskegon, Grand Haven) - US-31

      Proceed south on US-31, take Chicago Drive (I-196 Bus) Exit, turn right (west), Chicago Drive merges into 8th St., proceed to Columbia Ave and turn left (south) to 13th St. At the four-way stop, turn right onto 13th St. Western Theological Seminary is located at 101 East 13th St between Columbia Ave and College Ave.

  • From the East (Lansing)  I-96

      From I-96, take exit #46 (M-6) west toward Holland.  Travel the entire length of M-6 until it merges into I-196 W. (take the exit on the left to Holland).  Take I-196 to Holland’s 16th St. exit, proceed 4 miles west on 16th St. to College Ave and turn right (north) to 13th St, which is a four-way stop; turn right onto 13th St.-- Western Theological Seminary is on the corner there at 101 East 13th St, just east of College Ave.

  • From the Grand Rapids Airport - 44th St. and I-196

      Upon leaving the airport turn left onto Patterson Ave. SE.  When you read Broadmoor Ave (M-37 S.) turn left (south) until you reach the entrance ramp for M-6 to Holland.  Take M-6 west toward Holland.  Travel the rest of M-6 until it merges into I-196 W. (take the exit on the left to Holland).  Take I-196 to Holland’s 16th St. exit, proceed 4 miles west on 16th St. to College Ave and turn right (north) to 13th St, which is a four-way stop; turn right onto 13th St.-- Western Theological Seminary is on the corner there at 101 East 13th St, just east of College Ave.

  • From the Southeast (Kalamazoo, Battle Creek) US-131 and M-40

      From M-40 (Lincoln Ave), cross US-31 to intersection of 32nd St, State St, and Lincoln Ave (stop light). Bear 45 degrees left onto State St., State St. becomes River Ave., proceed to 13th St. and turn right. Western Theological Seminary is located at 101 East 13th St between College Ave and Columbia Ave.

  • From the South (Benton Harbor, South Bend, Chicago) I-94 and U-196 and US-31

      From I-196 bear left, taking exit 44 (US 31). At US 31 & I-196 Bus Exit bear left onto I-196 Bus & US 31 Bus (Washington Ave). Washington Ave first becomes Michigan Ave and then River Ave., proceed to 13th St. and turn right. Western Theological Seminary is located at 101 East 13th St between College Ave and Columbia Ave.
