On October 2, 2008 Rev. Dr. Timothy Brown was inaugurated as the 11th President of Western Theological Seminary. Dimnent Memorial Chapel on the Hope College campus was filled with friends, colleagues, students, and alumni celebrating this new leadership role for Tim. Academic delegates from as far away as Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA came to join the procession and wish him well.

Randy Smit, an RCA pastor serving as a specialized minister in the Holland classis, wrote an article about Tim Brown, "Growing in Grace," for the Holland Sentinel.
