Your gift to the Seminary Fund makes a direct impact on each seminary student by defraying general operating costs and keeping tuition low. Through your generosity, students will be able to enter ministry prepared to be wonderful teachers, pastors, and counselors without the burden of financial debt limiting their options.
Seminary Fund gifts are unrestricted, meaning they can be used to meet the seminary’s highest priorities throughout the year. Although all departments follow carefully-crafted budgets, the Seminary Fund provides important flexibility in addressing needs as they arise.

- The rest comes from donors like you, our auxiliary enterprises, and earnings from the Endowment (also created by gifts)

Where each dollar is used:
54% - Instruction, library, student services, organized activities
25% - Institutional support
14% - Auxiliary enterprises (bookstore, housing, The Bridge)
7% - Building, equipment and capital expenses

Give $5,000+ to support the annual operating costs of the seminary. Your exceptional level of support is crucial to the fulfillment of our mission.
Visionary Partner
Move the ministry of Western Theological Seminary forward with your gift of $2,500-$4999 to support the annual operating costs of the seminary.
Sustaining Partner
Your faithful partnership will sustain our work with your gift of $1,000-$2,499 to the Seminary Fund.
Barnabas Partner
Reflect the spirit of Barnabas, “son of encouragement,” with your gift of $500-$999 annually to the Seminary Fund. Barnabas sold property and gave the proceeds to the early church (Acts 4:36-37).
Advocate Partner
Express your trust and confidence in the mission of Western Seminary with your gift of $250-$499. Your financial support advocates for the work we are doing.
Other gift club:
Demonstrate your passion for Western Theological Seminary’s work by committing to annual gifts of $1,000+ or an outright gift of $25,000 or more to any fund at the seminary. You will be welcomed at President Club dinners, held twice a year at the seminary to update members on our ministry.
