We welcome Professor Amanda Drury as she shares the role of testimony as both a ministry practice and a faith formation experience. Her book, Saying Is Believing, explores testimony in the faith lives of young people. She has been writing and researching more recently on the topic of testimony and trauma. Drury founded The Brain Kitchen, an innovative after school program in Marion, IN designed to encourage the flourishing of young people who have experienced trauma. Teaching Church Mentors and all students are invited to a lunch presentation.
Student sign up is at the podium in Beth Smith’s office. Teaching Church Mentors please RSVP if you can make in on March 26.
