During that time, she taught at Union Presbyterian School of Theological Education for three years and settled into her richly inhabited vocation at Western Theological Seminary in 1994. 2024 marks her 30th year of teaching.

For more commencement details or to learn more about Dr. Bechtel, visit the link in our bio.

Spring break has arrived at WTS! We’re praying that our students have a wonderful and restful break this week. ...

Today we celebrate Christ’s triumph over death and gift of everlasting life.

“I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” —John 10:9-10
