It is my joy, privilege, and high calling to help students read the earliest Christian writings — the New Testament — in light of that good news: to wrestle with these writings, to listen to them carefully and patiently, and ultimately to proclaim their message afresh in the expectation that the risen Jesus will continue to address the church and the world through them.”
